We are dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare challenges faced by older adults and individuals with chronic health conditions in Canada. With approximately 7 million Canadians aged 65 and older, comprising 20% of the population, there is a pressing need for innovative solutions to improve their quality of life.
It is concerning to note that the majority, 80%, of individuals over 65 years old have a chronic health condition. These conditions not only restrict their ability to carry out daily activities but also threaten their independence and expose them to other negative consequences, such as heart disease, falls, and fractures. Care Anywhere recognizes the urgency of this situation and aims to bring about transformational changes in healthcare delivery through the application of cutting-edge biosensing technologies.
Our mission is clear: we will train the next generation of engineers, computer scientists, and health researchers to design, implement, and apply these biosensing technologies in healthcare. From wearable devices to personalized medicine, our trainees will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive this revolution in digital health technology.
Beyond the training aspect, Care Anywhere recognizes the critical shortage of over 60,000 unfilled jobs in the Canadian digital health technology sector. By preparing talented individuals to enter this field, we aim to bridge this gap and meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the industry.
